This project was born casually in 2021, when I was stuck in Hong Kong during Covid and found happiness in taking long walks with my camera around the city. All the places that once were buzzing with people, were now more quiet, allowing me more space and silence to really observe. And I then started to catalogue my pictures to then notice that there was always this colour pattern, and my eye was drawn to small, funny objects that usually are overlooked or one wouldn’t necessarily think of when thinking of Hong Kong. So I started looking more carefully, searching for colours and patterns to tell a story my own eyes.
